The Pittsburgh Chapter of ISSA also encourages your active participation in the other local User Groups.

Pittsburgh Infragard Member Alliance is an information sharing and analysis effort which combines the knowledge base and interests of a wide range of members. Participants are committed to the proposition that a robust exchange of information regarding threats and attacks, on critical regional and national infrastructures, is an important element to successful infrastructure protection.

Three Rivers Contingency Planning Association (TRCPA). The primary purpose of TRCPA is to promote education and the exchange of information among its members, so that they can develop and improve their skills in the fields of contingency planning, business continuity, and disaster recovery. TRCPA is a non-profit organization; its members or officers obtain no financial benefits.

Assosication of Information Technology Professionals. AITP offers direct contact with other professionals in the field through regular meetings on a local level. Sharing in the benefits of new ideas and experiences that can be acquired in no other way. AITP means belonging to a group of like-minded individuals joined together for the purpose of advancing their knowledge and skills, their careers and their profession.

CSO Breakfast Club. Opportunity for Security Executive peers to talk about concepts in an environment free from vendors. Meet about every six weeks to have some breakfast and discuss a general topic on hand will be expert speakers, panels and occaisionally invite vendors to share their solutions.

Pittsburgh Technology Council. Since 1983, the Pittsburgh Technology Council has been the principal point of connection for companies from four primary clusters of the technology industry that are represented by a critical mass of businesses in southwestern Pennsylvania including Information Technology, Biomedical, Advanced Manufacturing/Materials and Environmental Technology.

Pennsylvania Alliance For Security and Preparedness The Pennsylvania Alliance for Security & Preparedness (PAASP), formerly called the PA Business & Homeland Security Industry Partnership (PABHSIP), is a state-wide industry partnership funded by the PA Department of Labor & Industry that is a resource and forum for employers and employees.
